GSM協會(The GSM Association，GSMA)1月26日公佈第17屆全球行動獎(Annual Global Mobile Awards)入圍名單。GSMA表示，國際知名喜劇演員兼作曲家Tim Minchin將於2月28日在行動通信大會(GSMA Mobile World Congress)期間主持全球行動獎頒獎典禮；年度裝置製造商獎(Device Manufacturer of the Year)獲獎企業將在典禮中公布。
今年總共有158位被提名企業/產品進入世界行動獎入圍名單。在「最佳智慧型手機(Best Smartphone)」獎項方面，入圍的有iPhone 4S(Apple)、HTC Desire S(宏達電)、Nokia Lumia 800(Nokia)、Samsung Galaxy Nexus(Samsung)、Samsung Galaxy S II(Samsung)。
入圍「最佳功能手機/入門手機(Best Featurephone or entry level phone)」獎項的產品包括Emporia Life Plus Easy To Use Mobile Phone(Emporia)、Nokia C2-03(Nokia)、Nokia C3-00(Nokia)、Nokia C3-01(Nokia)、Samsung S3350(Samsung)。
入圍「最佳行動平板(Best Mobile Tablet )」獎項的產品包括Iconia Tab A500/501(宏碁)、Kindle Fire(亞馬遜)、 iPad 2(Apple)、Asus Eee Pad transformer(華碩)、Galaxy Tab 10.1(Samsung)。
蘋果(Apple Inc.)iPhone 4去年拿下「最佳行動裝置(Best Mobile Device)」獎，而宏達電(2498)則是摘下年度裝置製造商獎。
